Rev. Tim Chappell

Senior Pastor

Tim Chappell has over 20 years of experience as a minister.   He was the Senior Pastor at New Beginnings Church, Oxford. 

Tim began his study to be a minister at Word of Life Bible Institute, where he received Associate Degrees in Bible, Youth Ministry and Evangelism.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry from Midwestern Bible College.  He then attended Andersonville Theological Seminary, where he earned another Bachelor’s Degree, this time in Religious Education, and then his Master’s Degree in Counseling. 

Rev. RT and Dana Harris

RT and Dana Harris first started attending FCC in the spring of 2014.  They became members that summer, and they started leading the Youth Group in February 2016.  RT grew up on Pine Island, Florida, and attended Pine Island United Methodist Church.  Dana grew up in Merrill, Michigan, and attended Merrill Congregational Church.  They met at work in Southfield, Michigan in 2006, became very good friends, and got married in 2011.  (They are still very good friends!)  They enjoy spending time with their three kids and two dogs.  They also enjoy traveling to spend time with their extended family, who are spread out between Michigan, Ohio and Florida. 

Rev. Glen Holcomb
Choir Director

Glen joined our staff in 2015.  He currently works with our choir, heritage ringers (bell choir), and is working to develop a children's choir as well.  Glen received a Bachelor of Music from Marygrove College, receiving a double major in Music and Genral History.  He pursued a Masters of Music in vocal performance and a Masters of Arts in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University.  He currently also works with the Kettering University Singers.  Glen Holcomb is an ordained clergy member.

Traci Cooley

As a child Traci attended Sunday School at First Congregational Church when it was located in Pontiac. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a teaching degree and taught special and regular education for 25 years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from Oakland University. Traci's husband, Gordon, whom she has known her entire life, served the city of Pontiac as a fireman for 23 years. Their amazing daughter, Jenna, serves joyously in the FCC nursery every Sunday. Traci feels blessed to have this opportunity and absolutely loves working for the people of FCC.
